Fluid Changes or Flushes
Your engine oil is not the only fluid which needs to be kept fresh. Don’t forget the other vital fluids. For example, antifreeze can become corrosive if left unattended too long, thus damaging or prematurely aging other components of your cooling system Brake fluid can damage brake components if too much moisture is absorbed. Transmission fluid, Power steering fluid, Differential Fluid, Transfer case Fluid and Clutch fluid are the life blood of each of the respective systems in your car, truck, SUV or Van. If allowed to break down beyond their usefulness premature issues can result. Most fluids have a life expectancy which varies by manufacturer and model. Our service writers, Bruce and Bonnie, can look up the recommendations of your vehicle and advise you.
Timing Belt Replacement
Following your manufacturer’s scheduled replacement interval (check your owners manual for specific mileage requirements). Having your timing belt replaced in the specified timeframe can save you from costly engine repairs and the inconvenience of having your car down for an extended period of time. A little maintenance can save you a big headache!
